سال 2009 سال جهانی نجوم

پیام رئیس اتحادیه بین‌المللی نجوم درباره سال جهانی نجوم اتحادیه‌ی بین‌المللی نجوم سال ۲۰۰۹ را با شعار «جهان، برای کشف از آن تو» به عنوان سال جهانی نجوم برگزیده است. سال جهانی نجوم ۲۰۰۹ یادبودی از چهارصدمین سالگرد نخستین مشاهده نجومی به‌وسیله‌ی تلسکوپ است که توسط گالیله انجام شده است. این یک جشن جهانی نجوم، تأثیرگذار برروی جوامع و فرهنگ با تأکید جدّی بر آموزش، مشارکت عمومی و بکارگیری جوانان؛ و با رویدادهایی در سطح ملّی، منطقه‌ای و جهانی در تمام طول سال ۲۰۰۹ خواهد بود. سال جهانی نجوم ۲۰۰۹ توسط سازمان ملل به‌منظور سرپرستی به یونسکو واگذار شد که مورد تأیید این سازمان نیز قرارگرفت. این، منظور از پیشنهادی است که در پایان سال ۲۰۰۷ برای تصویب به رأی‌گیری در مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل گذارده شد. نجوم یکی از قدیمی‌ترین علوم پایه است. این علم به‌جدّ مبین هوش بشری بوده و اثر عمیقی را بر روی فرهنگ ما داشته است. در چند دهه‌ی اخیر پیشرفت عظیمی در این علم رخ داده است. صد سال پیش ما اندکی درباره‌ی ماهیت کهکشان راه‌شیری خودمان می‌دانستیم. امروزه می‌دانیم که جهان ما از میلیاردها کهکشان تشکیل شده است، و درحدود 13.7 میلیارد سال پیش به‌وجود آمده است. یکصد سال پیش نمی‌توانستیم بگوییم که آیا منظومه‌های خورشیدی دیگری نیز در جهان وجود دارد. امروزه بیش ازدویست سیاره را اطراف دیگر ستارگان کهکشان‌مان، راه شیری، می‌شناسیم. و به‌سوی درک این مطلب پیش می‌رویم که چگونه حیات برای نخستین بار می‌تواند شکل بگیرد. صد سال پیش ما تنها به‌وسیله‌ی تلسکوپ‌های نوری و صفحه‌های عکاسی روی آسمان مطالعه می‌کردیم. امروزه ما جهان را از زمین و فضا، از امواج رادیویی تا پرتو‌های گاما و با فناوری پیشرفته‌ی روز مشاهده می‌کنیم. رسانه‌ها و علاقه‌ی عمومی نسبت به نجوم هرگز تا این حد زیاد نبوده است و اکثر کشفیات صفحه‌ی اول اخبار را در سرتاسر جهان به‌خود اختصاص داده است. سال جهانی نجوم 2009 پاسخی است به تقاضای عمومی، هم در زمینه‌ی آگاهی‌ها و هم مشارکت عموم. فرصت‌های منحصربه‌فردی برای شرکت در رویدادهای اتحادیه‌ی بین‌المللی نجوم در سال جهانی نجوم 2009 وجود دارد. این بروشور مختصری است از برخی رویدادهای برنامه‌ریزی شده در سطح جهانی – به علاوه‌ی هزاران فعالیت ملّی و منطقه‌ای که پیشنهاد خواهد شد. من و انجمن‌های سازمان‌دهنده، جشن شاد و پرباری از تجارب نجومی را در سال جهانی نجوم ۲۰۰۹ برای همگان آرزومندیم کاترین سسارسکی رئیس اتحادیه‌ی بین‌المللی نجوم
وبگاه سال جهانی نجوم Astronomy.ir فعالیت خود را از روز شنبه 14 دی ماه 1387 آعاز کرد. پیام معاون علمی رییس جمهور در آغاز سال جهانی نجوم علم نجوم كه براي پاسخ به سؤالات بي‌شمار انسان درباره جهان اطراف خود به وجود آمد، به دليل نياز به ابزارهاي بسيار پيشرفته، پيشران و موتور محرك ايجاد فناوري‌هاي نو شد و دانش‌هاي ديگر را براي پاسخ به نياز‌هاي خود توسعه بخشيد. علم نجوم منشأ نياز به ساخت برخي از پيشرفته‌ترين ابزارهاي علمي مانند تلسكوپ‌هاي عظيم اپتيكي، راديويي و خورشيدي، ماهواره‌ها و تجهيزات كنترل از راه دور براي آزمون سطح سيارات دور بوده است. سال آينده، سال جهاني نجوم نام گرفته است تا فعاليت دانشمندان اين رشته از علم ارج نهاده شود و بر تاثير اين علم در جامعه و نقش فرهنگ ساز آن بر آموزش و مشاركت عمومي بويژه جوانان تأكيد گردد.400 سال از اولين رصد با يك دوربين نجومي توسط گاليله مي‌گذرد و هم اكنون بيش از 130 كشور جهان در فعاليت‌هاي متنوع و گسترده سال جهاني نجوم فعالند. تأكيد فراوان در اين سال بر علم نجوم به عنوان يك فعاليت علمي جهاني در جهت صلح جهاني خواهد بود و دانشمندان و علاقه‌مندان به نجوم در اين سال بزرگ‌ترين شبكه بين‌المللي نجومي را تشكيل داده تا همچون يك خانواده علمي جهاني با يكديگر همكاري كرده و از اين طريق به بنيادي‌ترين سوال‌هايي كه نوع بشر تاكنون پرسيده است، پاسخ گويند.
كشور عزيز ما ايران نيز همگام با جامعه جهاني در اين فعاليت عظيم مشاركت دارد. تفكر و تعمق در خلقت اجرام آسماني مورد تاكيد قرآن كريم قرار دارد و علم نجوم در ايران همواره مطلوب و شريف شمرده شده و تاريخ علم بر فعاليت گسترده منجمان ايراني و اسلامي در دوره طلايي تمدن اسلامي شهادت مي‌دهد. 750 سال از تأسيس رصدخانه مراغه به همت خواجه نصيرالدين طوسي مي‌گذرد و در اين فاصله علم نجوم به يكي از فعال‌ترين و گسترده‌ترين زمينه‌هاي علوم طبيعي تبديل شده است. گرچه ايران به دلايل تاريخي پس از عبدالرحمن صوفي و رصدخانهاش در شيراز و خواجه نصيرالدين طوسي و رصدخانهاش در مراغه از پيشگامي تحولات نجومي به دور بوده، ولي به يمن انقلاب اسلامي پس از حدود 8 قرن تلاش روز افزون دانشمندان ايراني و گروه‌هاي غير دولتي و موفقيت‌هاي افتخارآفرين نخبگان جوان كشور در سطح دنيا، پيوستن ايران به كشور‌هاي پيشگام در اين عرصه را نويد مي‌دهد.طرح رصدخانه ملي ايران به عنوان يك طرح كلان علمي در دست اجراست و ان‌شاءالله در سال جهاني نجوم عمليات ساختماني آن در مناسب‌ترين مكان نجومي ايران شروع خواهد شد.برنامه پيش روي كشور ما نيز مانند آنچه در جهان رخ داده منحصر به رصد اجرام آسماني و پديده‌هاي نجومي نخواهد بود. پيشرفت علم نجوم در ايران مستلزم دستيابي به دانش و فناوري‌هاي نو بوده و در 20 سال گذشته رشد بي‌نظير در سطح همگاني داشته است و بر اساس اطلاعات موجود فعال‌ترين گروه‌هاي نجوم عمومي را در منطقه دارد. از اين رو، بايد در عرصه‌هاي علمي حساس نيز به توسعه لازم دست پيدا كند با اجراي طرح رصدخانه ملي ايران كه مراحل آغازين خود را مي‌گذراند كشور ما صاحب يكي از قوي‌ترين تلسكوپ‌هاي مورد استفاده در اين امر خواهد شد و در كنار آن با تكيه بر متخصصان علوم مختلف زمينه توليد دانش و فناوري را توسعه خواهد بخشيد. علم نجوم ايران نيز پس از قرن‌ها ركود، بار ديگر مي‌رود تا در سال 1404 كه سال هدف در برنامه مبارك چشم‌انداز جمهوري اسلامي ايران است علاوه بر تبديل شدن به يكي از رشته‌هاي علمي فعال در ايران و منطقه، منشأ نياز به توسعه فناوري در ساير زمينه‌هاي علوم و فناوري‌هاي نو شود پيشاپيش مناسبت بزرگ و يادمان مباركي كه پيش رويمان است را به منجمان و دانش‌پژوهان ارجمند اين رشته تهنيت عرض نموده و سال مسمي به آن را گرامي مي‌داريم.
The International Year of Astronomy is Almost Here!
January 1 of 2009 brings with it the International Year of Astronomy, a worldwide celebration commemorating Galileo Galilei's first astronomical observation through atelescope. 135 nations are collaborating to promote astronomy and its contribution to society and culture, with events at regional, national, and global levels, to bring the Universe closer to more people on Earth. Events and activities will take place over the coming 365 days and beyond. How can you participate? Here's a list of several IYA activities events taking place during the next year. If you or a group you are affiliated with are hosting an IYA event, feel free to post it in the comments section. The International Year of Astronomy 2009 (IYA2009) has been launched by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). With so many events, the IYA is sure to make "The Universe, yours to discover."

listen every day. Opening Ceremonies: Many nations are holding their own Opening Ceremonies in January and February, showing their dedication to the Year. The official opening ceremonies take place in France on Jan. 15 and 16, but is not open to the public. Check out this website for opening ceremonies in your country. Solar Physics. Don't be surprised to see telescopes on the streets on New Year's Day.The IYA2009 Solar Physics Group have been busy planning a grand worldwide campaign, with over 30 countries involved at more than 150 venues, which will see amateur stargazers set up their telescopes on pavements as well as in science centers, letting passers-by observe the Sun using special safety equipment. The Cosmic Diary is an example of a global activity occurring during 2009, with the release of its official website on New Year's Day. The project concerns the daily lives of full-time astronomers. More than 50 bloggers, professionals from over 35 countries and employed by organisations such as ESO, NASA, ESA and JAXA have already begun producing content, writing about their lives, the work they conduct and the challenges they face. The public can see what being an astronomer is really like, and how ground-breaking research is conducted. 100 Hours of Astronomy: April 2-5, 2009. Includes a wide range of public outreach activities such as live webcasts, observing events and more. One of the key goals of 100 Hours of Astronomy is to have as many people as possible look through a telescope, just as Galileo did for the first time 400 years ago. Check out 100 Hours of Astronomy's website. From Earth to the Universe. This is exhibition that will bring large-scale astronomical images to a wide public audience in non-traditional venues such as public parks and gardens, art museums, shopping malls and metro stations. Over 30 countries around the world are currently in the development phase of FETTU projects, many with multiple locations. Some 15 countries plan to begin FETTU exhibitions within the first month of 2009, ranging in size from 25 to over 100 images on display. FETTU will be introduced to the global community at the Opening Ceremony at UNESCO headquarters in January 2009. Find out more at their website. The World at Night. Brings to the public a collection of stunning photographs and time-lapse videos of the world's landmarks with the sky in the background. The World at Night is preparing more than 30 exhibitions and educational events around the world. Dark Skies Awareness. One of IYA2009's aims is to raise awareness of light pollution, and how the beauty of the night sky is progressively being drowned out, particularly over urban areas. The project Dark Skies Awareness is tackling these issues head-on in a practical, inclusive manner. One way in which it is doing this is by holding star-counting events, where the public are encouraged to see how many stars in a particular area of the sky are actually visible from their location. When compared with data from truly dark sites, the results are often very surprising! The "How Many Stars" event will run from January 2009. A list of event highlights is available on the official IYA2009 website. From there it is also possible to link to the different country websites, or National Nodes, responsible for organizing local events in the many participating countries. IYA2009 wants to involve the public at many events, and amateur astronomers are organizing events. Known for their enthusiasm, this army of helpers is growing every day, preparing to promote astronomy in a stunning variety of ways. In fact, so many thousands of people across the globe are already involved, they have formed the world's largest ever astronomy network. از آغاز کودکی به پدیده های فیزیکی و قوانین حاکم بر جهان هستی کنجکاو بودم. از همان زمان دو کمیت زمان و انرژی بیش از همه برایم مبهم بود. می خواستم بدانم ماهیت زمان چیست و ماهیت انرژی چیست؟
